Wayne Larden

After many years as Assistant Race Director of the world’s biggest fun run, the City to Surf, Wayne went on to deliver many of AMP’s Sydney Olympic Sponsorship programs. Wayne is the CEO & founder of Pont3 in 2005. Wayne has a broad range of skills, overseeing the operational and commercial side of the business since 2005. Most importantly, Wayne has developed a large variety of key relationships across all Government agencies and departments which has enabled Pont3 to work efficiently and effectively across all our major events.

Nicola Bentley

Nicola is an experienced Sponsorship, Client Services and Event Marketing professional with over 18 years’ experience in the not-for-profit and corporate sector in the UK and Australia. In 2019, Nicola became General Manager of Pont3 after several years as Client Services and Marketing Director for Pont3 where she was responsible for Marketing and Sponsorship strategy, sponsorship sales, and implementation and revenue generation. Nicola has managed several strategic partnerships (including Destination New South Wales and Events Tasmania) and commercial partnerships with International and Australian brands including Blackmores and ASICS.

Kent Lunney

Kent has over 20 years experience in sponsorship, brand activations, event management and business strategy. His time at Rebel saw him manage the brands sponsorship portfolio, securing major partnerships with all of the top sporting codes including the AFL, NRL, FFA, CA/WBBL and Netball Australia. The portfolio also included over 10 major running events around the country. As a part of Super Retail Group’s senior leadership team , Kent was responsible for driving the future business strategy.

Simon Bryan

With over 15 years of operational and venue experience, Simon has vast understanding of delivering large- and small-scale events, both in Australia and around the world (including V8 Supercars, Doha Asian Games, Azerbaijan European Games, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix). He is passionate about designing events that are seamless, creating memorable end to end experiences that make event goers want to return.

Evan joined the Pont3 team in 2018 as a Senior Operations Manager. Before his time at Pont3 Evan worked as a Project Director, delivering mass participation events (10,000 – 20,000 pax) across the nation, including The Color Run. Evan has extensive experience in working and operating in Australia’s premier venues, including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Centennial Parklands, and Flemington Racecourse.

Rachael has been working in the sports and events industry for over 4 years. A reliable and confident member of the Pont3 operations team, Rachael has successfully delivered Pont3’s large-scale Volunteer and Public Communications Programs. Her experience working across several large-scale running events for both Pont3 and Athletics Australia has given her the ability to take on any event.

Alice has an extensive background in Client and Customer Service working for Pont3 for over 10 years. Alice’s role at Pont3 sees her assisting with business strategy, the management of marketing, communications, sponsorship, and international partnerships. Alice is also directly responsible for overseeing the Pont3 Customer Service Team.

Malva joined the Pont3 Team in 2020, directly from Athletics Australia, where she had been a Customer Service Officer for a large-scale mass participation event, RunWest. Malva graduated with a Bachelor in Tourism Management from Western Sydney University. Malva also has 5 years’ experience in function management and hospitality services.
